Working from Crazy Plant Lady: Cafe Co-working in Ahmedabad

Oct 20
2 min read

Ahmedabad has plenty of cafes. Fewer of them are set up for someone who needs to work for a few hours with a laptop, steady Wi-Fi and a plug that actually reaches the seat. Crazy Plant Lady runs a paid co-working setup for exactly that.

This post explains what co-working means here, what you get, and how to book a seat. Prices stay off the site, and you hear them when you call.

What co-working means at Crazy Plant Lady

Co-working here means working from a cafe seat with your laptop for longer hours. It happens on a separate floor or room at the outlet, and it is still part of the cafe. It is not a private office, and there is no bookable private room.

You sit among the plants and order from the same menu as everyone else. It suits people who want a calm cafe desk without signing up for a full office coworking space.

What you get

Every co-working seat has:

  • 100 Mbps Wi-Fi

  • A personal plug point at the seat

Food and drinks come from the cafe menu, which has Jain, vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free options, and co-working guests get a discount on food and drinks. Gluten-free dishes are not suitable for people with coeliac disease, because the kitchen also handles wheat.

Where and when

Co-working is available at these Crazy Plant Lady cafes in Ahmedabad:

  • Naranpura, right at Akhbar Nagar Circle

  • Bodakdev, on Rajpath Rangoli Road, about 250 m from Sindhu Bhavan Road

Both cafes are closed every Tuesday. At Naranpura, co-working runs on the other weekdays, Monday and Wednesday to Friday. For Bodakdev co-working days, call the outlet so you get the current schedule.

Naranpura is open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and Bodakdev from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, on the days they are open.

How to book

Co-working is a paid package and depends on availability. Payment is taken only when a seat is confirmed. Book by calling the outlet where you want to work:

  • Naranpura: +91 73031 12344

  • Bodakdev: +91 70108 48512

You can also read the short co-working page before you call.

If you want the cafe, not a desk

If you are coming to eat, meet friends or join an event rather than work, table booking is on Zomato District and Dineout, and our events are listed on the events page. Delivery is on Swiggy and Zomato.
